The Scream. Laughers.

Introduction

This warm-up is designed to try and get us all in sync. Lets get into a tight circle.

Description

The players are organized into a tight circle. The players start by looking down at their feet and avoiding each other’s gaze. On a count of three all the players look up from their feet at once. A player must look left, look right, or look across the circle. The players must make a strong choice of which direction they looking. They should look up as if they are about to look into another player’s eyes. If two players make eye contact, They both let out a brief scream and then return back to looking at their feet.

It should sound like 1, 2, 3, scream, 1, 2, 3, scream. The volume of the scream will vary as random numbers of player will make eye contact. Occasionally it will silent.

If the group is large the two players that scream can step out the circle. The circle closes while counting 1, 2, 3. This competitive version ends when there is no one left to scream with.

This activity is continued until all are out of the circle.

  • Elimination – Described above.
  • Laughers – Don’t scream let out a laugh.
  • Sing Song – Don’t scream let sing an agreed upon note.
